Prof. Jasem Al-Hashel is an adult neurologist and Headache specialist. He is a graduate of the college of medicine, Kuwait University, Kuwait. He completed his neurology residency as well as his fellowship in headache and Botulinum toxin injection at McGill University, Canada.
Dr. Al-Hashel is board certified from the Royal college of Physicians and Surgeon of Canada (FRCPC) and had also American fellowship in Headache Medicine (FAHS) and Canadian fellowship in Headache Medicine from McGill University. Also he is a Consultant Neurologist and Associate Professor of Neurology at Kuwait University, faculty of medicine in Kuwait. He established the headache and the Botulinum toxin clinic in Ibn Sina and Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospitals in Kuwait.

Dr. Al-Hashel serves as the Chair of the faculty of Neurology in Kuwait and the President of Kuwait Neurological Society and the Vice President of Pan Arab Union of Neuroscience (PAUNS). He has more than 70 publications in the field of Neurology and author a chapter in chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) in International neurology book, Second edition.

He was awarded as best researcher in Kuwait University in 2015 and in 2019 he was awarded by H.H the Amer of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah for scientific achievements in Medical Sciences and Allied Health Sciences.
Dr. Mishal Abu Al-Melh, MD, FRCPC, FAAN is a Consultant Neurologist, Movement Disorders & Neuro- ophthalmology specialist.
He graduated from the medical college ( Faculty of Medicine ), Kuwait University and completed his Neurology residency training and fellowship in Movement Disorders, Adult & Pediatric Neuro- ophthalmology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
He is a board certified Neurologist and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. He Co-authored several publications related to the field of Movement Disorders.
Currently Dr. Mishal serves as:
Head of Neurology Division & Movement Disorders unit, Al-Adan hospital, Kuwait.
Director of the Neurology, Movement Disorders, Botulinum toxin/Dystonia & Neuro-ophthalmology clinics at Al-Adan hospital.
Kuwait Director of the Neurology residency program, Kuwait.
Chairman of the Neurology postgraduate training committee.
Vice Chair of the International Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders Society Middle East Working Group.
Dr. Dean M. Wingerchuk, MD, MSc, FRCP(C) is Professor and Chair of the Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona.
He obtained his medical degree at the University of Saskatchewan and completed a neurology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
He completed successive fellowship programs in clinical neuroimmunology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, and at the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada. He also holds a Masters degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Research Methodology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada.
Dr. Wingerchuk’s clinical and research interests focus on neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) and multiple sclerosis.
He is the principal investigator for two NMOSD therapeutic studies and leads international collaborations that aim to improve NMOSD diagnosis and evaluation of outcomes.
Dr. James F. Howard, Jr. MD, FAAN is a Professor of Neurology, Medicine and Allied Health at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine and an adjunct Professor of Clinical Sciences (Neurology) at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Howard is a practicing Neurologist for over 41 years with a focus on Myasthenia Gravis and EMG, he is a leading expert in MG and has authored more than 110 abstracts, 150 articles, 35 book chapters, and 3 books in the field.
He is the former James F Howard Distinguished Professor of Neuromuscular Disease and the prior Chief of the Neuromuscular Disorders Section at UNC.
Dr. Howard was the 2019 recipient of the European Academy of Neurology Investigator Award and is frequently invited to lecture on MG at national and international meetings. He is a member of the NIH-funded Rare Disease Clinical Research Network for Myasthenia Gravis (MGNet).
He currently directs the Myasthenia Gravis Clinical Trials and Translational Research Unit at UNC and serves as the Global Lead Principal Investigator for a number of key clinical studies in the field of Myasthenia Gravis.
Dr. Mohammad Ashkanani, MD, FRCPC is a Neurologist and Epilepsy specialist at Al Amiri hospital, Kuwait.

He graduated in 2007 from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and he started his practical experience from Beaumont hospital in Dublin, Ireland, he then moved as a senior house officer in internal medicine in Al Amiri hospital, Kuwait.

Dr Ashkanani also worked as a neurology resident in Vancouver General hospital (VGH), Vancouver, BC, Canada for 5 years and completed 1-year epilepsy fellowship by 2016.
Dr. Syed Irteza Hussain, MD is the Department Chair of Neurology ​in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi
and a Consultant Neurologist with seventeen years of experience.
He completed his medical degree from Aga Khan University then he underwent extensive postgraduate training in the US.

He is American Board certified in Neurology, Vascular neurology, Neurocritical Care and Neuroendovascular surgery. Dr. Hussain joined Michigan State University as an Assistant Professor in 2009, where he helped establish a 24/7 Neurointerventional surgery service and fellowship training program.

Subsequently, in 2011 he was appointed the Medical Director of the Stroke Program at Michigan State University and its affiliate Sparrow Health system and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2014.
Dr. Hussain was awarded the Physician Leader of the Year award in 2015 by Sparrow health system, Michigan also he is a teaching awards recipients from the University of Wisconsin Medical School.

Dr. Athari Salmeen is a Senior Registrar Neurologist at Jaber Al-ahmad hospital – Kuwait
She graduated from the Factually of Medicine in Kuwait and completed her Adult Neurology residency in University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. followed by stroke fellowship at Vancouver General Hospital, British Columbia, Canada
