Dr. Abdulaziz Ashkanani is a consultant neurologist at Ahmadi Hospital and ILAE-EMR general secretary since 2017. 

 

He also serves as Consultant Neurologist and Electrophysiologist at Dar Al-Shifa Hospital and heads the Kuwait League Against Epilepsy (KLAE) since 2011.

Dr. Ashkanani obtained his Fellowship in Adult Neurology from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and a CSCN Diplomate (EMG) from the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists.

​

He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists and Canadian Neurological Society (CNS) and an active member of Kuwait Medical Association annd served as Head of Kuwait Neurological Society between 2012-2014.
