Dr. Mishal Abu Al-Melh, MD, FRCPC, FAAN is a Consultant Neurologist, Movement Disorders & Neuro- ophthalmology specialist.
He graduated from the medical college ( Faculty of Medicine ), Kuwait University and completed his Neurology residency training and fellowship in Movement Disorders, Adult & Pediatric Neuro- ophthalmology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
He is a board certified Neurologist and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. He Co-authored several publications related to the field of Movement Disorders.
Currently Dr. Mishal serves as:
Head of Neurology Division & Movement Disorders unit, Al-Adan hospital, Kuwait.
Director of the Neurology, Movement Disorders, Botulinum toxin/Dystonia & Neuro-ophthalmology clinics at Al-Adan hospital.
Kuwait Director of the Neurology residency program, Kuwait.
Chairman of the Neurology postgraduate training committee.
Vice Chair of the International Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders Society Middle East Working Group.
